TSUNAMI RELIEF
LARGEST RELIEF EFFORT IN HISTORY
On Sunday, December 26, 2004, a massive 9.0 magnitude undersea
earthquake unleashed deadly tsunamis that swept across south and south east
Asia. In their wake, they left a path of death, destruction, and despair. The
death toll exceeded more than 250,000 people and homeless survivors numbered in the hundreds of thousands if not over a million.
Our partners through out the region continue their relief efforts.
Please pray for the people of Southern Asia, for the people
who have lost their loved ones and belongings, the injured, and those who are
rendered homeless. Also pray for all whose who are engaged in the ongoing relief and rehabilitation
work. We pray particularly for our partners, and strengthen their hands by
extending support.
Rebuilding has come a long way and a lot has been done. However,
emotional support is still needed for those who lost loved ones. This is where
our partners do most of their work.
Thank you for your prayers and offerings.
