Highlights for the month of January
Mission of the Month - Grace Emergency Fund
This mission provides funds used to help members who are experiencing
a tough time due to unpleasant surprises. The funds have provided help
with paying rent or mortgage, car repairs, utilities, etc. Requests go
through the pastor and the Council Treasurer to determine
appropriateness. Requestors identity remains confidential, while the
amount available depends on your contributions.
Unique Monthly Events:
- Visioning & Leadership Retreat -This is the second session in which members go to a location away from Grace to decide what we want and where we want to go with our next pastor. This session will take place on January 14.
Recurring Monthly Events:
- Men's Group - Meets the first Saturday of the month at 8 am.
- Women's Fellowship - Meets on the first Monday of the month at 7 pm
- National Association for the Mentally Impaired (N.A.M.I.) - Meets on the first and third Tuesdays at 7 pm.
- Power of Prayer - Meets every Monday at 6 pm.
- Family to Family - Meets every Monday at 7 pm.
- Crafty Ladies - Meets each Thursday at 9 am.
- Pillow Talk - Meets the last Sunday of the month after second service (12:15 pm). Please come to help stuff pillows for surgical patients at Barnes Jewish St. Peters Hospital.
- Square Dancing - Meets every Wednesday at 7 pm. On summer break.
Special Events
- Women's Christmas Dinner - Sunday, Jan. 6, at 4:00 pm at Pasta House at Hutching's Farm and K.
- Visioning & Leadership Retreat- Saturday, January 14, 9am to 4 pm. This is the second in a series of sessions in the selection of our next pastor. It will be held at the same place as last time. Here is your chance to express your views.
