Traditional
service represents the style of service that has existed in the
church for generations. It consists of five sections.
Gathering - This begins the service with
a call to worship.
Hearing - This part contains scripture
reading, children's time, and special music. Also during this period, we present
special events that may occur such as the Sacrament of Baptism.

Answering
- In this part, we offer prayers to God in behalf of members, friends, and
family members who are ill or injured. We also make offerings and gifts to God.
Sharing - The United Church of Christ
believes that Jesus would welcome to His table anyone open to His Word. In this
spirit, UCC offers open communion to all who want it, and to celebrate this
sharing.
Sending - This part concludes the
traditional service. Here, the pastor blesses the congregation and urges them to
go out into the world and live their beliefs.
Note: Nursery care is
available during the worship service. As you leave the auditorium, the nursery
is to the left.
